Subprocessors
The companies that process personal data on our behalf so Irisen can work. This list is referenced by our Privacy Policy and we update it before adding a new provider.
1
Always engaged
These process data for every account, because the product cannot run without them.
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage and serverless functions. Holds your account and the data Irisen keeps for you.
- Vercel — hosting for the website and the web application.
- Anthropic — the Claude models that write Iris's replies. Receives your message and the context assembled to answer it.
- OpenAI — turns your messages and saved content into the numeric form that makes search and memory work, and transcribes voice input. Every chat turn is embedded this way. Content you have encrypted is skipped entirely and never sent.
2
Engaged when you use the feature
These receive data only when you use the part of Irisen that depends on them.
- ElevenLabs — speech synthesis, when Iris speaks a reply aloud.
- Stripe — subscription billing and card payments. Stripe collects and holds card details; we do not.
- Apple and Mozilla push services — delivery of web push notifications to your browser, when you enable them.
3
Engaged only if you connect the account
Nothing here receives data unless you explicitly connect that service, and disconnecting stops it.
- Google — Calendar and Gmail access for connected accounts, sign-in, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification delivery.
- Akahu — New Zealand open banking, for connected bank accounts and transaction data.
- Junction — wearable and health device data, for connected devices.
- Telegram — message delivery, if you connect Telegram.
- Meta (Instagram) — processing an Instagram data export that you upload yourself.
4
Supporting services
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — turning a place name into coordinates for a calendar event. Receives the location text, not your identity.
- Sentry — error diagnostics, where enabled, so we can find crashes. Receives technical error data.

Changes
We update this page before a new subprocessor starts handling personal data. If you want to be told when it changes, email privacy@irisen.ai and we will add you to the notification list.
